Her background spans over two decades of experience in the Federal Government, where she worked as a mathematician, computer scientist, and software manager—providing her with a nuanced understanding of agility in highly regulated environments.
Transitioning from traditional software leadership to agile coaching, Judy became one of the few professionals worldwide to earn both the Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST) and Certified Enterprise Coach® (CEC) credentials. She is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach® (CPCC) and a widely respected international speaker, known for translating agile theory into practical, human-centered transformation.
As the Founding Partner of Sticky Agile LLC, Judy leads agile training and coaching engagements for both private and public sector clients. Her work spans industries—from large government agencies to private corporations and creative sectors like interior design and construction, where she is pioneering agile methods tailored to the field. Judy holds degrees in Mathematics (UNC Chapel Hill), Computer Science (Johns Hopkins University), and Interior Design (Ball State University)—a unique academic combination that underscores her systems thinking and aesthetic sensibility.
